Plan Your Week On Sunday

In the Top 10 Organization Strategies, step 5 is to Plan Your Week On Sunday.

Want to be in the top 10%?  It’s proven that only 1 out of 10 people plan their week in advance on paper.

Why is this important?  BIG increase in productivity.

When you know what you are going to do and when you are going to do it in advance, not only are you making sure that what you are doing is going to align with your values, goals and mission, but you know when things are going to happen that week.  Your brain will start working on those assignments in advance, and you will find that your tasks are not only easier to do, but that you also get more done.

When I take time to plan my week in advance, it seems like the entire week goes more smoothly.  I personally do this on Sunday, since it’s a logical time to be able to plan your week ahead.

First, you will mark off your personal obligations and family activities.  Then look for blocks of time that you will devote to business needs.  I like to group together like activities as mentioned before, so I will set aside blocks of time for specific categories of business.  As mentioned before, I did my host coaching and mail for the entire week on Sunday evenings from 7-10 pm.  These blocks of time are most likely your “office hours”.  Then, in the time remaining take a look at your master “to do” list and schedule items in that are your most important.

In Organization for Home-Based Business Professionals, I take you through step-by-step how to plan your week to ensure that you have the most productive week, every week!  Pick up a copy today!
