Should You Hire A Coach?

In the Top 10 Organization Strategies, step 10 is to hire a coach.

Why?  I am a huge advocate of coaching, having had several business and sales coaches in my professional career.  Hiring a coach is by far one of the best investments of time and money you can make into yourself personally and into your business.

I remember hiring a coach for my direct sales business.  Little did I know at the time that she would coach me through one of the biggest transitions in my 10 year business.  I was so thankful that I had made the commitment to hire her, and it was wonderful having that support through the transition.

Most hire coaches for one thing – accountability.  We are willing to do more for others than we are willing to do for ourselves.  Why?  I don’t know – it is just how it is.  I always was more productive when I was being coached, simply because I knew I would have to answer to what did or did not get completed by the time our next coaching call came around.
