As I was power washing again today for many hours, I was again reflecting on life, business, family and many other things. And the thing that I kept coming back to today is perseverance.
Life in general can be hard, but when we are in a time of testing or hardships, when the prospect you thought for sure would sign up for your team falls through, when you sit down to make phone calls and get interrupted by “Moooommmmmyyy!”, when something doesn’t go the way you want it to go, when your host calls to cancel her show for tomorrow, when you fail to meet your goal for the month, when you miss earning the incentive trip by a tiny amount, when you are feeling down, when you are financially strapped, when someone you care about doesn’t believe in you or support you…
NEVER GIVE UP! PERSEVERE!!
When life knocks you down, get back up! Over and over again! As many times as it takes. There is one saying that the only way to lose is to quit. So, don’t quit. Instead, think onward and upward!
Onward and upward is a great saying that several friends of mine use as a closing, and for me, it means never giving up, persevering through hard times, always learning more, doing more, improving (personally and in business)…onward and upward!
So my goal for today is to remember to focus upward (on God and His will), then go onward…
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. – Phillipians 3:14
