It’s really hard to believe that the summer is nearly over and children are starting school soon (or, in some cases, have started already!).
And, since it is the end of the summer, that also means lots of canning and preserving too, so I am thankful for the freezer stocked full of good food to eat.
This also makes it easier for me, too, since I will be on the CLEAN program, which is entirely different food. This means I don’t have to worry about cooking much, because I already have several things stocked in the freezer for my family, and more in the freezer for me on the CLEAN program.
So, here’s what the menu looks like for this week:
Monday- Me: Fasting / Family: Leftover Buffett
Tuesday- Me: Taco Salad with Black Beans and Ground Turkey / Family: Tender Baked Chicken with Rice
Wednesday- Me: Lentil Quesadilla with Pastured Chicken and Homemade Guacamole / Family: Tater Tot Casserole
Thursday- Me: Lentil Dish / Family: Spaghetti
Friday- Me: Leftover Buffet / Family: Homemade Pizza
Saturday- Me: Leftover Buffet / Family: Leftover Buffet
Sunday- Me: Leftover Buffet / Family: Leftover Buffet
My recipe file is bursting with new recipes to try, so I’ll be updating my recipe page with each one that passes the test (just as soon as we make more room by eating what is already in the freezer!)! I’m also going to be posting about organizing your recipes soon.
To your success,
Dr. Laura
