It’s day 2 of round 2 of the 21 day CLEAN program. All good here!
Here’s what I had to eat today:
Breakfast – none
Lunch – Chicken/Black Bean “Taco” Salad with Homemade Guacamole
Snack – Cucumber Salad
Dinner – none
I’ve learned to listen to the signals of hunger and fullness that my body gives (and God provides) as a way to signal when to eat and when to stop (a concept I have learned from Weigh Down). So, I eat only when physiologically hungry (my stomach growls), and I stop when pleasantly satisfied. I’ve learned that by staying within these boundaries, I feel much, much better! So, today, by the time I was hungry, I was already out running errands, and decided to wait until lunch (since I had a date with my little one for lunch). Then, by mid-afternoon, I was hungry again, so went for a cucumber salad (mainly because I like cucumbers, and we have a million growing in the garden that I am not sure what to do with). But, I wasn’t hungry again until late at night (and I knew I was heading off to bed and wanted to make sure to leave 12 hours between meals so I didn’t eat – just drank some water and was fine).
