I recently wrote an article for Networking Times and I wanted to share it with you…
What Will You Do With Your 2,340 Minutes?
by Dr. Laura Aridgides
As we move through each week, there is one area where we are all the same: time. We all have the same amount of time every week. 10,080 minutes every week to be exact. What are you doing with your minutes?
Let’s assume that you get 8 hours of sleep each night, and that you choose not to do any work on Sundays. Let’s also assume that you spend 2 hours . . . → Read More: What Will You Do With Your 2,340 Minutes?

Guest Post written by Leo Babauta.
When I decided to change my life a little over 5 years ago, I had a very common problem: I didn’t have the time.
I wanted to exercise and find time for my family and eat healthier (instead of the fast-food junk I’d been eating) and read more and write and be more productive and increase my income.
Unfortunately there are only 24 hours in a day, and we sleep for about 8 of them. Subtract the hours we spend eating (3), showering and dressing and fixing up (1), cleaning and running errands (1), . . . → Read More: Create Time to Change Your Life

As I am over half-way through the 75 in 75 Challenge, I have had a lot of time to be able to think about what is truly important (as I have eliminated 314 items to date from my home). And, I will tell you, not much of the physical items around me are all that important. It’s been an eye-opening experience, seeing that an object that I at one point purchased because I “just had to have it” or thought that it would provide value at the time, really holds no true value to me.
So, along the way, . . . → Read More: 5 Fantastic Resources to Simplify Your Life

This post is a Tidy-Up Thursday AND a Frugal Friday all rolled into one! Since organizing your pantry is organization and it saves you time and money!
Have you ever bought something at the grocery store, only to come home and find that you already had that item hiding in the depths of your pantry?
Or, do you look in your pantry with a blank stare, wondering what you will make for dinner?
The answer is to organize your pantry.
I love to organize my pantry about twice a year, with updates every month. . . . → Read More: Tidy-Up Thursday AND Frugal Friday – Organize Your Pantry

I was reading over at Organizing Junkie today and came across a wonderful blog post that reminded me to remember my priorities.
And, I also was visiting Mom’s Toolbox for another great post about honoring commitments, especially those we have made before God.
Off to read my Bible. Thank you Lord for the reminders today to keep my priorities straight: God, Family, Work.
Amen.
To your success,
Dr. Laura

I’ve been on a bit of a frugal kick lately, and also making some changes to our lifestyle to make it a bit more healthy. This got me thinking on one of my favorite time and money savers…freezer cooking!
What is freezer cooking? Well, the definition is different for many people. Some use this as a “once a month cooking” concept, where there is just one day of cooking, where you make all the meals for the month and then freeze them, ready to bake or to be eaten. Some only do partial prep work for all the month’s . . . → Read More: Save Time and Money with Freezer Cooking

Menu planning is something I used to do quite often (albeit loosely), but I have strayed recently. So, I’m getting back on track, since menu planning is something that you can do that is not only easy, but will also save you time and money.
I like to plan my menu for an entire month at a time, since I am usually grocery shopping only once a month.
First, I take stock of what I already have in my pantry. This step must be first! Most people plan the menu, then look to see what they already have in . . . → Read More: Save Time And Money With Menu Planning
