31 Goals in 31 Days – The Recap

What an amazing adventure the 31 Goals in 31 Days Challenge has been!  I have been able to accomplish many things, and while some others are still “works in progress”, overall it was a great experience both personally and in my businesses.

I thought I would recap each of the 31 days so this will be a bit of a long post, and I’ll also let you know how I’m doing now toward these goals and what the outcome was.  So, here we go…

31 Goals in 31 Days – Day 2 – The Prospect List

Well, yesterday was Day 1 of the 31 Goals in 31 Days, and I must say that I had one of my most productive days by far!

After making my Master To Do List, I went on to clean my desk (this was the item that I had chosen to complete off the list first because it would have the biggest impact).  Well, in cleaning the desk, I ran across several things that needed to be done, and since most were under 2 minutes, using the 2 Minute Rule, I completed them right away.

The 45 Minute Rule

Okay, so you know I love rules (remember the earth-shattering, life-changing 2 Minute Rule?), and when I was reading one of my brother David’s latest blog posts, it reminded me of a rule that helped me be productive and stay sane years ago when I was writing my Ph.D. dissertation.  And it’s still something I use today.  It’s the 45 Minute Rule.

The 2 Minute Rule

Want one of the best kept secrets in the time management world?  It’s called the 2 minute rule.

What starts as one paper quickly turns into a large pile of things to do either on your desk or in your inbox.

Instead start doing the 2 minute rule.  The 2 minute rule states that if you get an . . . → Read More: The 2 Minute Rule
